Ponche Navideño (Christmas Punch)

Ingredients

  • 3 gallons of water
  • 10 oz. prunes
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 sugar canes
  • 7 guavas
  • 5 juicy oranges
  • 10 oz. tejocotes
  • 6 oz. walnuts
  • 2 lb. sugar
  • 1 qt. of Brandy optional

Instructions

  • Wash all fruits.
  • Cut the sugar canes in sticks.
  • Cut the guava in quarters.
  • Boil everything together, except the sugar.
  • When everything is cooked, add the sugar and brandy.
